Since 2009, The Network’s Human Services Resource and Internship Fair has been a tremendous asset to service providers and supervisors at human service agencies, students and faculty, plus many others in the human services community. At our last Fair, over 400 students and faculty along with staff from human service agencies across the Metro Denver Region, attended the Fair.
We have adjusted the Fair to better accommodate both students in their search for internships and human services organizations seeking interns. We accomplished this with input from the Human Services Education Organization along with human services faculty from Metro State University of Denver and Community College of Denver.
In addition to an increased focus on the placement of interns, this year’s Fair will feature a networking and interviewing skills component, with learning circles, mock interviews and more. This will help students to build their skills in this critical area and for Auraria Campus faculty, along with staff from participating organizations, to provide facilitation and training to support them in this.
Networking and Resource Sharing: There will be opportunities aplenty for networking and resource sharing. This is a great chance to tout your latest initiatives and find out what others in the field are doing.
Who will be there?
