After a year of significant change and challenges, this is a time to look at and evaluate your personal and professional goals, mission statements, beliefs and behavior patterns. There is complexity in the decisions you make as they relate to your personal and professional self-image, and whether they serve you, the company or clients you provide for.
The ability to see repetition in patterns, both internal and external can be very advantageous in recognize the many subtle and not-so-subtle influencers that shape our decisions every day. Many people make personal and professional decisions that change only the set and setting, but repeat the same dynamics and dilemmas. This results in a “been here - done this” frustration. This repeating of patterns and other aspects of self-sabotage are more easily seen in hind sight. Pro-actively evaluating decisions beyond a “pro/con” list can be very useful in moving forward rather than feeling stuck in repeating patterns that often lead to burnout of your vitality and creativity.
Intuition and biochemistry also play a part in decision making. Understanding, utilizing and expanding your intuition has an impact on the confidence and courage needed to move forward. Knowing and considering intuitions’ biochemical and innate influences can help you activate intentionality in going about making and employing your personal and professional goals and positioning.
